1. Who we are

Halzak Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the Elevate Community and Elevate PRO membership at elevate.halzak.com and halzak.com. We are the data controller for personal data you submit to us.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed), profile information you provide (role, company, bio, avatar, location, LinkedIn, website).
• Membership data: subscription status, plan, access expiry, payment metadata returned by Stripe (we never see your card number).
• Activity: events you RSVP to, comments and reactions you post, documents you open.
• Technical: session cookies, IP, basic device info for security.

3. How we use it

• To provide the PRO membership service: authentication, content access, events, the WhatsApp link, the directory.
• To process payments and renewals via Stripe.
• To send transactional and membership emails (password reset, invoices, event reminders).
• To improve the platform and respond to support requests.

4. Lawful basis

Contract (delivering the membership), legitimate interest (running and improving the platform), consent (where required, e.g. marketing).

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors required to run the service: Supabase (database/auth/storage), Stripe (payments), Resend or our equivalent email provider, and Vercel (hosting). All operate under data-processing agreements.

6. Member directory

Profile fields you mark visible appear to other PRO members. You can hide your profile at any time from /pro/me.

7. Retention

We keep account data while your membership is active. You can delete your account from /pro/me at any time, which removes your personal data and cancels active subscriptions. Stripe retains payment records for legal/accounting periods independently.

8. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object, and delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@halzak.com to exercise any right.

9. Cookies

We use first-party session cookies for authentication. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. Stripe Checkout sets its own cookies during payment.
